See why the City of Rotterdam chose to test NEMO’s solution in their city

NEMO’s new noise-measuring station successfully demonstrates it’s innovative solution in a real traffic environment in the City of Rotterdam.

The City of Rotterdam has, like most cities, a traffic problem. And with traffic comes noise and polution. But instead of preventing vehicles from driving into the city centre, to work or shop or explore the city’s many cultural offerings, the council wanted to find an innovative approach to identify the noisiest vehicles and worst polluters. Rotterdam therefore invited NEMO’s partners to test the new noise-measuring station in the city.

In  this video you can hear Theo Benjert, Noise consultant at the City of Rotterdam, explain the city’s challenges with traffic and noise, as Bert Peeters, Senior consultant, M+P, and Ard Kuijpers, Managing director, M+P, introduce you to the innovative solution. Special thanks also to MarkJan van Blokland, M+P, for driving the Corvette.

The technology has been developed together wih Müller-BBM and SINTEF.
